I’m a fan of the old-fashioned musical. You know, the kind where boy meets girl, there are some fun and flashy dance numbers, boy almost loses girl, then there are some ballads and reprises, and in the end…. BOY GETS GIRL.

It’s been months since we’ve had a really good soaking rain in Tulsa. Sure, this January’s sunshine and mild weather is welcome by many especially when you compare it to last year’s record winter, but I think we all agree that a little rain is a good thing. I was glad to see the rain last night and this morning. My backyard pansies sure seem happy, too.
